1What is a window wall decal made of, and will it damage my walls?

No. WallMonkeys decals are cut from a premium semi-gloss vinyl. They go up with no tape, nails, or glue, and peel off cleanly without damaging paint or leaving residue.

2How do I apply it?

Unroll the decal and let it rest for at least an hour (overnight is best), then apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface. Peel the backing away from one corner and smooth the decal upward, working out air bubbles as you go.

3Can I remove it later, or reposition it?

Yes — it peels away cleanly from a corner with no residue or wall damage. In an average indoor environment a WallMonkeys decal holds up for 3-5 years, so most customers treat placement as long-term rather than something they'll peel off right away.

4What sizes are available — can I get a custom size?

Standard sizes start at 12 inches and go up to 6 feet tall, and every design can be custom-sized to fit your wall. Full wall murals ship as 48-inch-wide panels with a 1-inch overlap for seamless installation.

5Can I put a faux window decal directly on an actual window?

These window mural designs are made to apply to a wall, not onto window glass — the back of the material is white and opaque, so it won't show through from outside a window. For the window "view" effect, apply it to any flat interior wall like a framed piece of art.
